EGLISH ST. PATRICK’S G.A.C. CLUB NOTES

Under 21 Football

Training for all members of the Under 21 panel continues.  All players are asked to stay in contact with management for training arrangements and upcoming fixtures.

Under 13 Football

The Under 13 team had an excellent win against Cookstown on Friday 16th September, final score 3-08 to 1-06.  This was a total team performance and very well done to all.  Team on the night was Michael McGleenan, Christopher Fee, Ciaran McGready, Conor Murtagh, Cahir McNeill, Ryan Feeney, Lorcan McCaughey, Matthew McGleenan, Bartley Finnegan, Dillan Horsefield, Stephen McVeigh, Frankie Barrett, Cormac Byrne, Seamus Muldoon, Jake Finnegan. Subs all played. Simon McGurk, PJ Sheridan, Aidan Murtagh.  Training continues Tuesday and Thursday night at 6pm.  The remaining game is on Friday 30th September away to Clonoe at 6.45pm.

Under 8 & Under 10 Go Games Football

The final Under 8 and Under 10 Youth Blitzes for this year will be hosted by Galbally, starting at 10am this Saturday 1st October.  Training for Under 10′s continues as normal on Thursday evening at 6pm for all players.

Club Lotto

The Lotto result for Monday 19th September is as follows: winning numbers were 2, 19, 20 and 24.  There were no ‘Match 3’ winners.  Lotto Jackpot for Monday 26th September is £3,500.

Coffee Morning & Pairc Chormaic Draw Update

Thanks to all those who came to the Coffee Morning in the Sports Hall on Sunday morning to show their support for the Club Draw.  An enjoyable morning was had by all.

Gym Circuits

Male and Female Adult Gym Circuits are being held in the Sports Hall Gym on Wednesday evenings from 7.45pm to 9pm and on Sunday mornings.  Everyone welcome.  There are also Gym Sessions for Under 12′s and Under 14′s on Monday evenings from 7pm to 8pm.  For further details contact Matt McGleenan on 07717712177.

Zumba Dance Fitness

Zumba Dance Fitness classes are being held in the Sports Hall, starting from Monday 19th September from 7-8pm.  No dancing experience is required, just bring light clothing and water.  Telephone 07795 523658 for further information.

FUNdamentals & Gaelic start Workshops

Tyrone County Board will be running two FUNdamentals / Gaelic Start workshop for coaches working with children aged 3-9yrs.  The aim of this programme is to help parents and coaches plan and implement a Gaelic Start and Fundamentals programme in their clubs.  The Gaelic Start programme will cover the first two stages of the LTPDP i.e. Active Start – 3 to 5 yrs. and Fundamentals 6 to 8/9 yrs.  A specific programme of skills and activities have been developed on user friendly cards for coaches with little or no experience

Dates, Venues, and Times

Monday 3rd October – Riversdale Leisure Centre, Strabane @ 8pm

Tuesday 4th October – Galbally Community Centre @ 7:30pm

Both sessions are open to coaches and parents to attend, feel free to turn up and come ready for a bit of light exercise and plenty of craic.
