We had a great response for the draw for tickets for the All Ireland Football Final. All ticket stumps were entered into a drum in the club rooms upstairs at the Sports Hall… and the lucky winners were…. The Sisters of the Convent of Mercy, Donegal Town!
In similar style to ‘The Late Late Show’, our club secretary rang through to the convent on speaker phone and relayed the good news to a jubilant Sister Magdalene.
