Well done to all Eglish players and management on a great win last week against Ardboe. Eglish travelled to the loughshore on Saturday requiring two league points to help avoid relegation and put in a determined display to claim the win. Final score Ardboe 1-12, Eglish 2-11. This result has secured Division 1 status for 2013, with one league game remaining, away to Coalisland, scheduled for next Saturday, 20 October. Reserve at 3.00pm, Senior at 4.30pm.
Our Reserve team also played Ardboe; the game ended in a draw, Ardboe 2-07, Eglish 0-13.
Under-18 (Minor) Football
Our Minor team will play Stewartstown in the championship final on Saturday 27 October at 2.00pm. Venue to be confirmed.
Under-13 Football
Our Under-13 team played Stewartstown last weekend and came away with a good win. Final score, Eglish 10-08, Stewartstown 1-06.
The Under-13 have now qualified for the League play-offs and will play Beragh, in Beragh, on Saturday 27 October, at 2.00pm.

Scór na nÓg
The first round of Scór na nÓg is scheduled for early November so preparations are starting for entrants for the various competitions. To be eligible to take part, participants must be 17 or under on 1 January 2013. The various sections in Scór na nÓg include ceili and set dancing, instrumental music group, ballad group, recitation, solo singing, novelty act and quiz. Anyone interested in taking part should contact Seamus Donnelly.
Club Lotto
The Lotto result for Monday 8 October was as follows: winning numbers were 8, 9, 11 and 14. There were eight ‘Match 3’ winners: Aisling Jordan, Emma Muldoon, Majella Connolly, Aileen O’Kane, Aiobheann McVeigh, Eimear & Blaithain McVeigh, Geraldine Donaghy and Dermot Quinn. The next Lotto draw will be held on Monday 15 October, Jackpot is £6,000.
Eglish Senior Camogie Team lose out in Ulster Club Final
The Senior Camogie team were unfortunately beaten last Saturday in the Ulster B Camogie Final by Down champions Ballycran. In a close contest the girls played very well but were eventually beaten on a scoreline of Eglish 1-05, Ballycran 1-08.
