Adult Football

Adult Football continues on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, with a number of Challenge games on Friday and Sunday.

Youth Football

Minor Football League game against Moortown, scheduled for last Saturday, was postponed due to weather conditions.

The Under 14 League also commenced on Thursday evening with a home game against Killeeshil, Unfortunately the halftime lead was cancelled out by a heavy barrage of goals early in the second half. Final result Eglish 2-10 Killeeshil 5-08. Saturday’s game against Donaghmore as been postponed to 22nd March, on account of school trips.

Other

This week’s Lotto No’s were 4, 8, 21 & 22. There were five match 3 winners, Oisin Trainor, C Downey, Sean Cassidy, Raymond McCann and Flynn Donaghy. The Snowball now stands at £6150. Play now at www.locallotto.ie

The Cormac Run 2016 takes place on Saturday 22rd April. There are two courses 5k and 10k. For further details and registration please visit cormacrun.org.

Membership is now due and can be paid to the Club registrar or to any committee member. Fees are unchanged this year at £30 adult and £10 Concession.


Commiserations to the Senior Camogie team, who lost out by the narrowest of margins in the All-Ireland Intermediate Final. The girls can hold their heads high as they did themselves, their families and the entire community proud. This must go down as one of the greatest days in the history of Camogie in Eglish and Tyrone.
