Adult Football

There was no action for our Senior or Reserve teams last weekend due to Tyrone Seniors playing in the Ulster Championship.

The next round of Tyrone Division 1 League games take place this Wednesday 8th June, at home to Ardboe.  Reserve 6.45pm and Senior 8.00pm.  There is another game at home on Sunday 12th June against Errigal Ciaran.  Reserve 2.15pm and Senior 3.45pm.  Other fixtures to follow include Sunday 19th June at home v Trillick and Sunday 26th June away v Derrylaughan.

The draw for the Tyrone Club Championships was held in Kelly’s Inn, Garvaghey last week with Eglish being drawn against Moortown in the first round.  Date and venue for this fixture is to be confirmed.

The new vibrant and interactive website provides a wealth of club information for the Gaelic football and Camogie teams.  Supporters and followers are able to access all the latest news, fixtures, results and other items of interest including a picture gallery, club development, a short history and a Scór section.

The new website is an important communications channel for all members and supporters both local and overseas.

Aside from the latest news items, upcoming fixtures and latest results the home page also features a monthly calendar listing of upcoming events.  There are also links to our social networking sites, Facebook and Twitter, and an RSS feed which broadcasts the latest website content to those that have subscribed.

Club Chairman, Kieran Hagan, says “After months of hard work I can finally say that we are delighted with the finished product that is our new club website.  This will provide an essential link to keep all members and supporters based from both far and near updated on all the is happening within the club”.
