Camogie Club Notes – 10/10/2011

EGLISH ST. PATRICK’S CAMOGIE CLUB NOTES

The minor team was defeated in the final of the Tyrone minor championship by Dungannon on Sunday afternoon, well done to the girls and the management who worked hard all season.

 Congratulations to Ciara Donnelly who won an all Ireland medal last Sunday for Armagh Junior Camogie team.  Ciara was part of the winning Armagh time which won the Nancy Murray Cup after defeating Westmeath in the final.

 The club’s annual Bingo/Bazaar will take place on Friday 25th November.

The famous Buffalo which featured on “Lesser Spotted Ulster” and can be seen at Daly’s Petrol station name is called CLINT.  This infamous Buffalo played a key role in a recent fundraiser, name the buffalo, there were no winners.

Underage training will begin on Friday 21st October from 6-7pm in the Sports Hall.

The club extends sympathy to the Hughes family Roan on the recent death of Peter Hughes (RIP).
