Adult Football
The Seniors travelled to Annagher on Sunday evening to play Coalisland in the League. Unfortunately neither Seniors nor reserves came home with the points. Results, Senior: Coalisland 4-14 Eglish 0-10; Reserve: Coalisland 1-20 Eglish 1-04. This weekend we host Strabane in Fr Connolly Park on Sunday, senior at 3.45pm, preceded by reserve game at 2.15pm.
The Under 21 team travelled to Cookstown for their semifinal against Kildress on Tuesday night. Unfortunately they went down on a scoreline of Kildress 2-10 Eglish 1-04.
Youth Football
Under 16 League has commenced and the boys have opened their campaign with two wins over Rock, Eglish 3-15 Rock 3-11, and Galbally, Galbally 3-03 Eglish 5-10. Next up are Clonoe on Thursday at 7.30 in Fr Connolly Park, this will be followed by the short journey to Killeeshil on Wed 3rd August.
Under 12 travel to Moy this week and Under 6, 8 & 10 Football training has resumed on Thursday evenings. Keep an eye on Whatsapp group for details of upcoming Blitzes and tournaments.
Other
As mentioned on social media the club is presenting a show in October to celebrate the evolution of song, dance and entertainment over the past century. This is sure to be a very enjoyable experience. Anyone that wishes to get involved should make contact with Bronagh Murtagh or any member of the club committee.
