Adult Football
The Seniors hosted Strabane in Fr Connolly Park on Sunday, result Eglish 0-08 Strabane 2-07. There was no reserve game as Strabane were unable to travel.
Youth Football
Under 16 League continued this week, travelling to neighbours Killeeshil on Wednesday evening, unfortunately they suffered their first defeat of the season. Result Killeeshil 3-15 Eglish 1-09. Action continues next week, with two fixtures on the roster. Dungannon come to Fr Connolly Park on Monday and we travel to Rock on Thursday evening.
Under 12’s travel to Drumragh next Wednesday and Under 6, 8 & 10 Football training has resumed on Thursday evenings. Keep an eye on Whatsapp group for details of upcoming Blitzes and tournaments.
Other
As mentioned on social media the club is presenting a show in October to celebrate the evolution of song, dance and entertainment over the past century. This is sure to be a very enjoyable experience. Anyone that wishes to get involved should make contact with Bronagh Murtagh or any member of the club committee.
