Croker Dream Come True

Congratulations to our club players and sisters Leanne and Ciara Donnelly on their Junior All Ireland semifinal win with Armagh over Roscommon at the weekend.

Armagh will now play Carlow in the final on Sunday 11th September in Croke Park. A dream comes true for the Donnelly sisters to step out on to the coveted pitch.

Ulster Academy Achievement

Well done to Casey Gallagher who was selected to attend a two day Ulster Academy Programme in UUJ this week! A great achievement to be considered one of Ulster’s elite!

Tyrone U16 Success

Congratulations to the Tyrone U16s who won the Ulster Shield on Sunday. In miserable conditions the Tyrone side defeated Donegal in Clan na Gael. Well done to the Eglish representatives, Regan Fay, Emma Muldoon, Catherine Muldoon, Casey Gallagher (joint captain), Clionah Goodfellow, Michelle McGready, Morgan Horsfield, Shannon Gildernew and Aisling Begley, and to mentor Leona Gallagher.

The Tyrone U16s are back in action this weekend again when they travel to the National Games Development Centre, Abbottstown to play Wicklow in the All Ireland “Progress to Success” Final. The club wishes all players and mentors the best of luck! Hopefully they will continue their winning ways!
