EGLISH CAMOGIE NOTES

Ulster Club Championship

This Sunday, our seniors begin their campaign to try and defend their Ulster title.
Just like a repeat of last year, they play Down champions Liatriom in the Semi-final. This time round however, Tyrone has home advantage.

Game is set for Fr Connolly Park Eglish on Sunday 9th October with throw in time still to be confirmed. Once known, time will be posted on our Club’s Facebook page.
The Club would like to wish the entire panel and management the best of good luck on Sunday and we would encourage all supporters to make a big effort to attend the game.

Minor League

Good Luck to the minors and management when they travel to Greencastle this Wednesday to finish out their league games.

U14 Castledawson Tournament Success

A huge well done to our U14 team who travelled to Castledawson on Sunday and came away champions! After winning all their group games, they beat Greenough in the semi-final before going on to win against Tyrone rivals Edendork in the final! Congratulations to all the players and mentors and many thanks to those who assisted with travel arrangements.
Congratulations also to Clionah Gildernew who was awarded player of the match in the final!

Tiny Tots

Last Saturday was the final weekend of outdoor training for U6, U8 and U10s for 2016.
The club would like to sincerely thank Clare Daly for taking the lead throughout the year and organising training and blitzes.

Thanks also to all the girls who came along to help out at training sessions and Go Games and to the parents who volunteered to drive when needed and came along to support.
