Adult Football
Aghyaran came to Fr Connolly Park on Sunday for senior and reserve games. Fortunately We managed to retain all the points. The reserves recorded a comfortable win on a scoreline of Eglish 3-11 Aghyaran 1-06. Things were not as comfortable in the senior game, requiring an Injury time point to secure victory by the narrowest of margins. Result Eglish 0-14 Aghyaran 1-10. We are back on the road this weekend, travelling to Dungannon on Sunday, throw-ins are at the regular times of 2.15pm, reserve, and 3.45pm, senior.
Youth Football
Minors had two games this week, On Friday they went to Dungannon, unfortunately they came up against a very rampant Clarke’s team, losing out on a scoreline of Dungannon 1-24 Eglish 3-07. On Tuesday evening Killeeshil came to Eglish. Unfortunately Eglish were not able to overturn the result from earlier in the season. Result Eglish 0-17 Killeeshil 2-14. Next week the Minors travel to Galbally on Tuesday evening.
On Monday evening the Under 14’s took on Ardboe in Fr Connolly Park. Result Eglish 5-12 Ardboe 6-19. Next up is Dungannon in Dungannon on Friday night.
Under 12 Training is on Thursday night this week. Under 10 & Under 8 training also continues on Thursday as normal.
Other
Saturday night is a time to party as the club is hosting a Vintage Tea Party. Anyone who hasn’t booked their table should make contact with Kieran Hagan or Sheila McKenna. Tables of all sizes are welcome. Dancing will follow to the music of Eugene O’Kane.
