Adult Football

The Seniors and Reserves hosted Derrylaughan on Sunday. The reserves suffered their first defeat of the season and the Senior game finished all-square. Results: Senior, Eglish 1-12 Derrylaughan 0-15; Reserve, Eglish 1-10 Derrylaughan 3-12.

On Thursday the reserves travelled to Mullaghmoyle for their opening game in the Reserve Knockout. The came home with a win on a scoreline of Stewartstown 1-12 Eglish 4-14. There is no Adult action this weekend, on account of the Ulster Senior Football Championship.

Youth Football

The Minors host Kildress, on Friday at 7.30pm in Fr Connolly Park, in what will be their final league game of the year. Next week they host Omagh in the first round of the Minor Championship.

Under 14’s lost out to a very big Moortown, in the Championship on Wednesday.

Under 12 Training continues on is on Thursday nights, there is no football this Monday as it is Hurling week. However an U11 team will travel to Aghaloo for a tournament on Saturday.

Under 10 & Under 8 training also continues on Thursday as normal.

Congratulations to the Tyrone Under 17 team on winning the inaugural Ulster Championship, Especially players Ethan Jordan and Jack Gibney and Manager Colin Holmes

This week’s winning Lotto No’s were 7, 8, 15 & 24. There was no winner of the snowball, but there were 11 Match 3 winners, Dympna McVeigh, Conan Daly, Leanne Daly, Milo McCann, Patrick McCann, Psatrick Hanna, Tiernan McVeigh, John McCann, Eglish Bakery, Paula Browne, Lisa Donnelly and Patricia Cully.
