Adult Football

Seniors completed their League season on Sunday, travelling to Cookstown for their final game. The significance of this game as the there was no opportunity to improve league position. Cookstown came out winners on a score-line of Cookstown 2-10 Eglish 0-12. Next up for the seniors is the Championship, currently scheduled for Saturday 16th at 12.30 in Pomeroy.

Reserve Football has been completed for the season. It finished with mixed fortunes. Winning the League with a game to spare, but losing out to Dungannon in the Championship Final, score Eglish 3-06 Dungannon 2-15.

Under 21’s progressed to the Championship final last week with a semi-final win over Edendork, Eglish 8-18 Edendork 3-14. The final will be against Moy.

Youth Football

Under 16’s continue their League Campaign. Hosting Donaghmore, in Pairc Chormaic, on Thursday evening at 7.00pm. They then travel to Cookstown on Monday evening for their final league game.

Other

Anyone interested in taking part in Scor na nOg should make Contact with Sean Byrne, competitions commence in October and Competitors must be Under 17 for 2017.

Friday night will see the Launch “The Pursuit of Perfection, The Life, Death and Legacy of Cormac McAnallen”. Special guests will be Peter Canavan, 2003 Tyrone Senior Football Team Captain. Also present will be All Ireland winning Under 17 Players Ethan Jordan and Jack Gibney, and Under 17 Team Manager Colin Holmes. Action commences at 8.00pm and light refreshments will be served.
