Adult Football

Senior Football training continues this week, with various activities at a number of locations. The First game in the Ulster League was on Tuesday at 7.30pm in Pairc Chormaic, Collegeland were the visitors. Result Eglish 2-18 Collegeland 0-05. The second game will be on Sunday as we are hosting Doire Trasna, Derry City. Game will be in Pairc Chormaic on Sunday at 12.00pm.

The Under 21’s opened their season on Saturday passed with a victory over Clonoe, Score: Eglish 5-06 Clonoe 1-12. 2.30pm. Next game will be against Coalisland on Sunday at 2.30pm.

Youth Football

Under 12 and Under 14 Football training will continue, in the Hall, on Thursday nights at 7.00pm. There will also be a session in Loughview on Sunday at 1.00pm.

Minor Training commences this week on Tuesday and Friday nights at 6.00pm

Other

The opening round of Scór Sinsear will take place on Friday 2nd Feb in Coalisland, St Joseph’s College. Anyone interested in helping or taking part should make contact with Donal McAnallen.

With the beginning of a new Season, membership is now due. Rates for the incoming year are: Adult £40, Youth and Concession £20, Family £100.

This week’s winning Lotto numbers were 7, 18, 22 & 23. Mickey McVeigh was the sole 3 winner. Next week’s Jackpot will be £1800.

Hard luck to the Camogie girls who lost out to Johnstownbridge in the All-Ireland Semifinal on Sunday.

As part of the Ireland Lights Up initiative the lights on Pairc Chormaic will be switched on on Monday nights from 7.00pm to 9.00pm, for the next six weeks. This is to provide a safe environment for everyone to get active by using the walking track at Pairc Chormaic.
