Adult Football

Seniors travelled to Moortown on Friday night past, and came home with the points. Result: Moortown 1-09 Eglish 2-13. The Reserves followed on Tuesday evening, but they were not as fortunate, ending on the wrong side of a one point margin. Result: Moortown 3-12 Eglish 2-14. This week we make the short Journey to Aghaloo. Games throw in later than usual, Reserve at 5.00pm and Senior at 6.30pm.

Youth Football

The Under 14 team hosted Coalisland on Sunday, the boys gave a very spirited performance but this was not enough to overcome na Fianna. Result: Eglish 3-10 Coalisland 6-08. Kildress will be the next opposition, coming to Fr Connolly Park on Monday 14th, Throw in 7.30pm.

Minors had no game this week, their next match is scheduled for Tuesday 15 May, when they host Ardboe in Fr Connolly Park.

Other

This week’s winning Lotto numbers were 7, 9, 17 & 22. There was no winner of the Snowball and it now rolls over to next week and is £2450. Roisin Jordan was the sole Match 3 winner. You can play now at www.locallotto.ie

Everyone was knocked out of Last Man Standing at the weekend. This means that all remaining participants are back in.

Commiserations to the Tyrone Under 16 squad, especially Eglish members Michael and Luke, on their defeat in the Buncranna Cup final against Donegal on Sunday evening.
