Adult Football

The Seniors played their final home game on Saturday past. They hosted Owen Roes in Fr Connolly Park. Seniors and Reserves both recorded wins. Results, Senior: Eglish 2-11 Owen Roes 2-08; Reserve: Eglish 8-14 Owen Roes 1-10. The Final League game will be on Sunday 28th as the Seniors travel to Urney for their final game. The Seniors were also presented with Division 2 League trophy, by Aidrian Scullin, Tyrone CCC vice Chairman.

Youth Football

The Under 16s travelled to Strabane on Saturday morning for their Championship Quarter final. They came home with a victory, result: Strabane 1-07 Eglish 1-13. This has now setup a semi final against Ardboe. This is scheduled for Saturday 20th, at 12.00noon in Galbally.

There will be an under 13 competition, commencing on Sat 27th. Coaches will be in contact with players with more details.

Other

Scor na nOg begins in October, first round will be weekend of 26th to 28th October. If anyone is interested in participating please make contact with Donal McAnallen.

This week’s winning were 7, 17, 18 & 22. There was no winner of the Snowball, and Denis Quinn was the only player to match 3 numbers. Next week’s Snowball will be £3400.

It’s time for everyone to dust off those boots as the club is hosting a 7-a-side tournament on Saturday 10th November. So get in contact with all those family members you haven’t seen in years and invite them along to the “Clash of the Clans”. Bonuses for female players and players over 40. The tournament will be followed by a Barbeque on Saturday night.

November will also be the time for “Eglish get up and go”. This will be a six week programme of activities from C25K and Gym Circuits to Cycling and Badminton. The full programme will be issued next week.
