Adult Football

The Seniors travelled to Urney on Sunday for their final League game. They suffered their second League defeat of the season, the home team claimed the points on a scoreline of Urney 2-14 Eglish 1-12.

Youth Football

The Under 16s bowed out of the championship last week, at the semifinal stage. Losing to Ardboe on a scoreline of Eglish 4-08 Ardboe 5-11.

The Under 13 team commenced their League on Saturday with a journey to Galbally, This week they host Stewartstown in Pairc Chormaic on Monday evening at 7.30pm.

Other

Scor na nOg began last weekend. Well done to all those that took part and qualified for the next round, Ceili Dancing, Recitation, Instrumental Music and Question Time. The next round will be in Kildress on Friday 9th November.

This week’s winning were 10, 11, 14 & 23. There was no winner of the Snowball, and Mary Bradley was the only player to match 3 numbers. Next week’s Snowball will be £3500.

It’s time for everyone to dust off those boots as the club is hosting a 7-a-side tournament on Saturday 10th November. So get in contact with all those family members you haven’t seen in years and invite them along to the “Clash of the Clans”. Bonuses for female players and players over 40. The tournament will be followed by a Barbeque on Saturday night.

November will also be the time for “Eglish get up and go”. This will be a six week programme of activities from C25K and Gym Circuits to Cycling and Badminton. The full programme will be issued at registration on Sunday, 12.00pm in Football Club.
