Get Ireland Walking – All ages welcome
As part of the GAAs ‘ Ireland Lights Up initiative’ we are teaming up with RTE’s Operation Transformation and Get Ireland Walking, to make exercise more accessible on the dark winter nights.
More than 150 GAA Clubs signed up last year across the country, with over 6,000 walkers talking to their local GAA club each week to walk off the Christmas excess, catching up with neighbours and banish the winter blues. Therefore the lights around Paírc Chormaic will be on every Thursday between 7pm-9pm for a five week period (January 17th – February 21st, 2019)
