Tyrone Development Camps for 12 – 15 year olds

Posted on June 1, 2011 | No CommentsAdult Football Our Senior team was defeated at home by Clonoe in the league on Wednesday evening of last week. Final Score: Clonoe 1-10, Eglish 0-08. The Reserve team also lost their encounter. Final Score: Clonoe 1-14, Eglish 1-03. There is no game this weekend due to Tyrone playing Monaghan in the Ulster SFC. The next round of league games is another mid week fixture on Wednesday 8thJune, at home to Ardboe. Match times for this game are Reserve 6.45pm and Senior 8.00pm. Other games after this fixture include Sunday 12th June at home v Errigal Ciaran, Sunday 19th June at home v Trillick and Sunday 26th June away v Derrylaughan. -

Posted on May 26, 2011 | No CommentsOur Senior team was beaten by Dromore at the weekend. Final Score: Dromore 1-17, Eglish 2-03. The Reserve team picked up a point when they drew with Dromore. Final Score: Dromore 2-10, Eglish 2-10. There has been a change to the matches that were scheduled over the upcoming weeks. Eglish will now travel to Coalisland on Friday evening, 20th May, for their next league game. Reserve 6.45pm and Senior 8.00pm. Other fixtures to follow are: Saturday 28th May home v Clonoe, Saturday 4th June home v Ardboe (Reserve game only), Wednesday 8th June home v Ardboe (Senior game only), Sunday 12th June home v Errigal Ciaran. Minor Football Our Minors finished their Grade 1 League with a win over Donaghmore at home last week. Final Score: Eglish 0-15, Donaghmore 1-08. They have now qualified for the knock-out stages of the league. Under 10 Go Games Blitz There is an Under 10’s Blitz scheduled for this Saturday 21st May in Killeshil. Everyone is to be in Killeshil for 10.00am. Parents should contact youth management for arrangements. Training for U6, U8 and U10 Squads Training continues on Thursday evenings, starting at 6.00pm and will finish at 7.00pm. Parents are reminded that all players must be registered in order to take part. Registration forms will be made available before training. Youth Meeting There is a Youth Meeting at 9.00pm this Thursday, 19th May, for all youth coaches. It is highly important that all coaches and helpers attend. Club Lotto Winning Lotto numbers for Monday 2nd May were 5, 6, 9 and 17. There were seven Match 3 winners: Deirdre Hamill, Patricia Small, Frances Daly, Martin McCann, Eoghan Donnelly, Curtis McMenemy and Gerard and Karol Donnelly. Lotto Jackpot for Monday 9th May is £2,600. -

The Reserve team also recorded back to back wins as they defeated Cookstown in the opening game. Final Score: Cookstown 1-10, Eglish 1-11. This Sunday Eglish are away to Dromore. Please note match times for this game have changed and are now Reserve 6.00pm and Senior 7.30pm. Posted on May 26, 2011 | No CommentsOur Reserve and Senior teams had their first competitive games of the season when they made the short journey to Donaghmore. The opening game saw our Reserves put up a good display but were eventually beaten. Final score Donaghmore 1-12 Eglish 1-08. In the second game our Seniors put up a solid performance and came through winners. Final score Donaghmore 1-11 Eglish 2-13. -
